Older Faroese houses do carry something very unique, a special soul. Beautiful small details like pinewood flooring, large skirting boards and charming doors with beautiful carving that right away decorate a space. Our vision was to preserve these details and to create a warm, modern and dreamlike space for those that will spend time in the house. The combination of old and new, hard and soft surfaces, as well as light and deep tones, makes the space inviting and inspiring. From the choice of materials and colours, different wood tones to velvet and long flowy curtains create a cosy and soft contrast to the space.
The house belongs to a large firm in the Faroe Islands and will be used for employees to rent, in-house meetings, get togethers and so on.
